Tiffany Niles

Tiffany, PHR, SHRM-CP, is currently the Human Resources Manager at Bonide Products, LLC, where she oversees strategic planning, payroll, employee relations, policy development and talent strategy.  Since beginning her career in 2011, she has held multiple roles that have strengthened her expertise in both strategic and operational HR.  Tiffany earned her BS in Business Administration/HR Management from The College of Saint Rose and her MBA in Technology Management/HR Management from SUNY IT.  She is passionate about advancing the HR profession and supporting the region’s HR community.

Jeremy Painter

Jeremy Painter, SHRM-SCP began his career in Human Resources in Training and Development at CONMED Corporation in 2011. Since then, Jeremy has progressed and developed in numerous Human Resources roles. Today, Jeremy serves as the HR Operations Manager at Assured Information Security, Inc, where he is responsible for the management of HR Projects/Solutions, Technologies, Compensation, Benefits, and the Talent aspects of the organization.

Jeremy is a graduate of SUNYPOLY with a B.S. in Communication & Information Design and has an MBA from California Southern University. Additionally, Jeremy is a professional musician who performs locally in multiple bands.

Elizabeth Bowers

 

Elizabeth (Beth) Bowers, SPHR/SHRM-SCP has over 30 years of Human Resources experience, having started her HR career with a Marine Distribution Company in Atlanta, GA.  The majority of her career, more than 25 years, was spent with a public Medical Device Corporation. There she served as a key member of the management team contributing to the grow of company revenues from $15 million to over $750 million and employment, in New York State from 200 to over 3,100 worldwide.  

Beth most recently served as the Chief Human Resources Officer and Board Secretary for a Cyber and Information Security Company.  There she was responsible for HR Strategy, Talent Management, Organizational Training and Development, HR Compliance and Total Rewards and all other facets of HR.

She holds a dual Bachelor of Science Degree from Syracuse University in Business and Economics and an MBA in Finance from SAGE Graduate School.

In addition to serving as Past President for MVSHRM, Beth also serves on the New York State SHRM Board of Directors, the Board for the Herkimer, Madison, Oneida Workforce Investment Board, and the Anita’s Steven Swan Human Society.  She has previously served on the Boards of Upstate Family Health Center, Resource Center for Independent Living, The Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees and the YWCA of the Mohawk Valley.

Tiffany Abele

Tiffany Abele is the Vice President of Talent at AmeriCU Credit Union, bringing 15 years of progressive experience in Human Resources. A native of Upstate New York and a 1997 graduate of Cazenovia High School, Tiffany has built a distinguished career focused on strategic talent management and organizational development.  She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from DeVry University in 2009, followed by a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Fraud Examination from the Keller Graduate School of Management in 2010. In 2014, Tiffany further enhanced her expertise by completing a Master’s Certificate in Human Resources from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. 

Tiffany serves on the Board of Directors for MVSHRM and is also a board member for the Rome Chamber of Commerce, demonstrating her commitment to advancing the HR profession and supporting the local business community.  Although her career began in the Surveillance Industry in Las Vegas, Tiffany discovered her passion for Human Resources upon returning to the Mohawk Valley in 2011, starting as an HR Assistant. Since then, she has developed deep expertise in employee benefits, employee relations, payroll processing, recruiting, and leave programs. Her leadership continues to shape AmeriCU’s talent strategies and foster a culture of growth and engagement.

Michele LaPorte

 

Michele is a native of Utica, NY with over 34 years’ experience in the Human Resources field and has held various Human Resources positions at the New York Power Authority prior to retiring.  After retirement, she began work as an Independent Contractor and currently is with MVSHRM as their Chapter Administrator and also serves on the Board as Membership Director.

Michele received an MS degree in Management Science / Human Resource Management from Binghamton University and a BPS degree in Business Management / Personnel Management from SUNY IT as well as a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Syracuse University. Michele holds the Human Resource designations of PHR and SHRM-CP and was a past Board Member of the Stevens-Swan Humane Society.

Diana Jasewicz

NBT Bank

 

Diana Jasewicz, SHRM-CP, CPP brings over 10 years of human resources experience, with a strong focus on benefit administration, HR operations and payroll. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from SUNY Empire State, and an MBA from Utica University. 

Her career has largely been rooted in the banking industry.  In her current role AVP, Benefits and Payroll Manager for NBT Bancorp Inc., she oversees benefits, payroll and the HR Shared Services department, contributing strategic insights and operational efficiency to HR initiatives.

Alina Shuman

Alina earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Service Management with a minor in Human Resources Management from SUNY IT in 2011. A business requirement course sparked her interest in Human Resources. She started her professional career with AmeriCU Credit Union in 2012. She left the company for a little while in pursuit of other endeavors but after a break of about a year and a half has since returned. Currently, she is focusing on recruitment, seeking talent to join one of the best companies to work for in NYS. She takes pride in providing an excellent experience to candidates that show interest in employment with AmeriCU.

She enjoys reading, spending time with her family, spending time outside; walking, hiking and being by any body of water. She particularly enjoys traveling and tries to visit one new place per year that she has not yet been to.

Leeann Light

Leeann is Vice President of Human Resources for a Central New York Hospital System.  She has many years’ experience in Labor Management, Total Rewards, and Recruitment.  Leeann brings over 30 years of experience in Human Resources to her position.  She holds a BS in CPA Accounting from Syracuse University. Leeann has served on the MVSHRM board for many years holding multiple board positions.

Kimberly S. Hatzinger

Kim brings to her position more than 30 years of Human Resources experience.  She is responsible for administering all employee benefits, including medical/Rx, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans for Hamilton College.  Kim is also experienced in HRIS, staffing, training, and employee relations.  She holds a BS in Accounting from SUNY Institute of Technology, and maintains two Human Resource certifications, SPHR and SHRM-SCP.  Kim has served on the MVSHRM board since 2012 and has held several board positions.

Kathy Stockbridge

NYSTEC

 

Kathy Stockbridge is a talent acquisition professional with 20 years of experience with staffing and strategic hiring. As Recruitment Manager at NYSTEC, a non-profit technology consulting firm, Kathy leads end-to-end recruitment efforts and supports the company's long-term growth through thoughtful talent strategies. She also plays a key role in supporting NYSTEC's summer internship program, helping to develop early-career talent and build a strong talent pipeline.

Before joining NYSTEC, Kathy spent 14 years at Staffworks, a regional staffing agency, where she most recently served as Branch Manager. During her time there, she worked closely with many companies across the Mohawk Valley to deliver customized staffing solutions. She led staffing efforts across a range of industries, managed key client accounts, and built long-standing relationships through responsive service and strong results. In her role, she also oversaw daily branch operations, supported a team of staffing specialists, and contributed to business development and successful candidate placements.

Kathy holds an associate's degree in business management from Mohawk Valley Community College and maintains several industry certifications, including the Professional in Human Resources (PHR).

Lisa Green

Human Technologies Corp.

 

Lisa Green is the Vice President of Human Resources at Human Technologies in Utica, New York. She brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources leadership, with a career dedicated to serving not-for-profit organizations across healthcare, higher education, and human services.

Lisa began her HR career in 1999 at Bassett Healthcare as Manager of Compensation and Benefits, and steadily advanced into roles of increasing responsibility. At Faxton–St. Luke’s Healthcare, she led HR operations across multiple entities, including the main hospital, St. Luke’s Home, the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA), and Centrex laboratory. During her tenure, she also spearheaded the implementation of a major HRIS system. She later joined Utica University, where she served for nearly 13 years, ultimately as Vice President of Human Resources, Title IX Coordinator, and 504/ADA Compliance Officer. In this role, Lisa oversaw all HR functions, including student employment, while also serving as the institution’s lead expert on sexual violence and gender-based discrimination. Her work fostered a strong commitment to student advocacy and development.

In her current role at Human Technologies, Lisa oversees all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, compliance, compensation and benefits, and internal support. As a corporate officer, she supports the organization’s mission to create employment for people with disabilities—a mission that aligns closely with her lifelong dedication to building inclusive, respectful workplace cultures. Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Utica University. She is PHR-certified and has served on the boards of Junior Junction Childcare, Notre Dame Schools, and the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce.

Alice Savino

Alice Savino has over 20 years of workforce development experience and currently serves as Executive Director of the Workforce Development Boards in Herkimer, Madison & Oneida Counties and also Chenango, Delaware & Otsego Counties. Previously Alice was the Publisher of an international trade communications company located in Latham, NY.

She is a graduate of Russell Sage College with a BS in Economics.

In addition to serving as Workforce Readiness Director for MVSHRM, Alice also serves as Secretary & Chair of the Governance Committee for the Resource Center for Independent Living, Treasurer and Executive Committee member of New York State Association of Training & Employment Professionals, Board member of the Mohawk Valley Economic Development District and Trustee for the Genesis Group.
