Student Scholarship Award

STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP: ENTER FOR THE 2026 APPLICATION

Each year, MVSHRM awards a $1,000 scholarship to recognize a student from one of our local colleges/universities who has declared Human Resource Management as a major or is a student majoring in Business Management with a concentration in HR or who has demonstrated an interest in Human Resources as a career path through coursework and management related academic and/or life experiences. Through the application and essay process a student is chosen.

Criteria is based on:

High academic achievement,
Drive, and
Determination in the study and practice of Human Resources.

Applicants complete an essay and submit that along with detailed descriptions of any relevant class projects, internships, activities and organizations they participate with, and a copy of their resume. Final candidates are interviewed, and the winner is selected by the scholarship committee, comprised of Human Resource and/or business professionals from the area.
