Volunteer of the Year Award
The Mohawk Valley Society for Human Resource Management has been built on the efforts of its members who have dedicated their time to its success.
The Board of Directors adopted the Volunteer of the Year Award in the spirit of appreciation for outstanding service to the MVSHRM chapter. It is a President's Choice Award that is given to a Board or Committee member who demonstrates extra effort above and beyond their normal Board or Committee responsibilities and recognizes the contributions and commitment to the Chapter throughout the year. This extra effort assists the Chapter and its members to meet goals of advocating practices, education and networking opportunitiesn to help members keep current and meet the critical issues facing the Human Resource profession and the business community.
The President and Past President have the greatest insight regarding member volunteer involvement and will solicit information from other board members when needed to assist in the decision. The award will be presented by the President on behalf of the Board at the annual Awards event.
