The NYS Department of Health and the CDC are offering free cancer screenings to qualidied individuals. This program is a grant program through the NYS Department of Health, and the CDC. It pays for cancer screenings (Breast, Cervical and Colorectal Cancer) for 40-64 year old men and women who do not have health insurance, or who are underinsured. This program is something that can be offered to employees as a benefit, especially for those who elect not to take health insurance, or for employers who do not offer health insurance.
